These are genuine military tags - the same stainless steel dog tag that has been used for more than 50 years.  The chains are also stainless steel.  Rubber silencers are optional.

 

 DT-5 - Used from WWII till 1964.  Two Stainless steel tags with chain set (one 4-1/2" and one 24").  (Notched tags) $10.95 per pair.
DT-2 - Used from 1964 to today.  Two stainless steel tags with chain set (one 4-1/2" and 24").  $6.95 per pair.
DTS - Black dog tag silencers.  Two black rubber frames fit around the edge of the tags to eliminate clanking.  Sold in pairs.  $1.75 per pair.
